Pomperaug Basketball Community is offering competitive travel teams that will compete against local area towns through the Fairfield County Basketball League (FCBL). The season runs from October through March.

The travel teams are available to current 5th through 8th graders based on the participant's 2023-2024 grade level enrollment.  By participating in our program, you consent to verification that you reside within the Region 15 district and/or that you are enrolled with Region 15 schools.  

Travel Basketball Registration Information:

-The cost of registration is $400 and the registration deadline is Sunday, October 1, 2023. Any signups after this date may result in an additional administrative fee of $25.

Tryouts will be held at Rochambeau Middle School during the week of October 16, 2023.  It is recommended that players attend ALL tryout dates.  Please check our website for specific dates and times when they are available.

Participants who make the travel team will have their first name and last initial posted after 4pm on October 23 on the "Team Assignments" section for the corresponding division.  Participants will NOT be contacted by Pomperaug Basketball Community for their team assignment.  Names of individuals will be removed from the team assignments section in early November. 

Participants who do not make the travel team will be automatically enrolled in the In-House League. The difference in fees will be refunded.

The travel teams will practice for 90 minutes at least one day per week (and may practice 2 days per week) from Monday to Friday. School locations may vary.  Your coach will inform you of your practice location. 

Practices will begin in late October.

All Home Games will be held on Sundays at Rochambeau Middle School, beginning on 12/03/23 and ending on 2/25/24 (excluding holidays consisting of 12/24/23 through 12/31/23 and 2/18/24). Times will vary. Away games may take place on different days such as Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and may run into the month of March. 

All games will be posted on the FCBL's website, which you can view by clicking here. 
 
Playoffs are tentatively scheduled for late February - mid March at neutral sites.

All practices and games will be held, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, Pomperaug Basketball Community will update our website or you may visit our Facebook Page by clicking here.
