Pomperaug Basketball Community, with the help of Middlebury Parks and Recreation, is offering In-House basketball focusing on fun, teamwork, and the development of basketball skills.
Registration groups below are based on the participant's 2024-2025 grade level enrollment.
The In-House Basketball Program (Grades 2-8) will start practices in late November/early December, dates TBD and games will start the first weekend of December.
Evaluations will take place in November.
Teams may practice and play games at any Region 15 facility. Games for Grades 5-8 will be played at either RMS or
MMS.

Team assignments, game times and practice times won’t be available until about 1-2 weeks before the season starts, due to the quick turnaround time between evaluations, coaches forming a team, and the start date of the season.
Youth In-House Basketball Registration Information:
- The cost of registration is $200 and the registration deadline is Sunday, October 27, 2024. Any signups after this date may result in an additional administrative fee of $25.
- Families registering 2 or more children will receive a $25 discount on their total order for the In-House Basketball Program only.
REFUND POLICY (Grades 2-8)
-Refund requests will be subject to the approval of the PBC Board of Directors. No refunds will be considered after evaluations and team assignments.
High School Basketball will start in early January of 2025 and run into March. High School Basketball will NOT have weekly practices and only consist of games on the weekends. High School Basketball players may be subject to an evaluation before players are placed on teams.

High School In-House League Registration Information:
-The cost of registration is $100 and the registration deadline is Sunday, January 5, 2025. Any signups after this date may result in an additional administrative fee of $25.
Participants who make the Pomperaug High School (PHS) Team, cannot participate in the In-House Basketball Program. If you registered for In-House Basketball and have made the PHS team, please contact us at pomperaugbasketball@gmail.com for a refund.
Evaluations will be in November for grades 2-8 and in January for grades 9-12.
Each participant will be contacted by their coach or league director with their team assignment. Team assignments include a coach introduction, your child's team color/name, your child's practice time slot and location, a review of expectations, and the game schedule.
Team assignments for grades 2-8 will be released after Thanksgiving and before the first weekend of games.
The In-House Basketball Program (Grades 2-8) will have one practice per week that may be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Practice starting times will be 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, or 8:00 PM. Each practice will be one hour in length. This includes arrival time and departure time for your time slot.
The schedule will be based on the coach's availability and is predicted to be sent to participants after evaluations/teams are formed (around late November).
Reminder: High School Basketball In-House League (grades 9-12) will not practice weekly.

Youth In-House Basketball (Grades 2-8) will play one game per week which will be held on Saturdays, beginning on 12/7/24 and ending on 2/22/25 (excluding holidays consisting of 12/23/24 through 1/1/2025, 1/20/25 and 2/15/25 through 2/18/25).
Times will vary and exclude the playoff schedules.
The High School Basketball In-House Leagues (Grades 9-12) will play one game per week either on Saturday or Sunday, starting in January of 2025. Times will vary.
Grades 5-12 will participate in the playoffs. The playoffs will take place Saturdays AND Sundays in March.
